Volunteers and competitors travel from across the country and around the world to take part in the Southern Ohio Forest Rally. In recent years, a single SOFR event has drawn participants from 36 states and 7 countries. As a nationally sanctioned American Rally Association event, SOFR brings world class motorsports to the back roads of Southern Ohio, spanning Ross, Vinton, and Scioto counties. The rally features more than 115 miles of competitive stages and attracts over 60 race teams, thousands of spectators, and hundreds of volunteers each year. Beyond the racing, SOFR delivers nearly $3 million in regional economic impact through lodging, dining, fuel, and local business spending. With a Net Promoter Score of +88 and 98 percent of attendees rating the event as very good, SOFR has become a signature event that highlights the strength, hospitality, and community pride of Southern Ohio.
